LOCATION OF THE HOTEL OTIUM ROME

The 3-star Hotel Otium Rome offers great value accommodation from a fantastic location in the leafy suburb of Prati that gives our guests the best of both worlds: quick and easy access on foot to all parts of the historical centre of Rome (in particular St Peter’s and the Vatican) combined with the tranquillity and peacefulness of a quiet residential neighbourhood.

Checking out the interactive map below you’ll see we’re easy walking distance from such famous squares as Piazza del Popolo, Piazza di Spagna and Piazza San Pietro. Our great value 3-star Rome accommodation is just a few minutes from the River Tiber and the neighbourhood is also home to some of the city’s best restaurants and atmospheric pubs.

Also just a few hundred metres away is Lepanto Metro Station, which connects you to all parts of the city that are too far to walk. Less than half an hour on the metro and you can be at the Colosseum, St Paul’s Cathedral, San Giovanni, the Trevi Fountain and much much more!

How to find us

Rome: Rome has two international airports: the principal one, Leonardo da Vinci at Fiumicino (FCO), and Ciampino (CIA) which is mainly used by Ryanair. Each has public transport links into the city until around 11.30 pm, the former via train and the latter by bus. Said links are usually to Termini Station although other city drop-offs including the Vatican area are also usually available. Termini and Tiburtina are the city’s two principal train stations and the former is also a hub for local transport.

Lepanto: The 3-star Otium Rome is conveniently located right by Lepanto Metro Station on the red (A) line. The metro is by far the fastest way to get around town and the red (A) line in particular passes by most of the city’s most important landmarks and sights, including San Giovanni, Piazza della Repubblica, the Spanish Steps, St Peter’s and the Vatican Museums. Lepanto is right in the middle of that lot, just five stops (about 15 minutes) from Termini.

Hotel Otium: On reaching Lepanto Metro exit the station onto Viale Giulio Cesare and head east in the direction of the river. That’ll be the same direction as the traffic as this is a one-way street. After 250 metres turn left onto Via Fornovo (it’ll be the second left after Via Vigliena). The 3-star Hotel Otium Rome is located at number 2, you’ll recognise us from the bar open to the public on the street, the warm and welcoming atmosphere but above all, from the sign on the door!
